Impaired Ministry
Russian Missions is proud to share with you that we
have been the first mission to develop a ministry to
the deaf in Russia. We have learned that some of the
foremost cities throughout Russia have a large population
of hearing-impaired.
Prior to our outreach, there was no church to which
these people could attend and feel accepted. Once their
needs have been addressed, we have learned that this
population is very open to the Gospel.
Once this situation was focused on, Russian Mission
began training our missionaries in sign language. To
date, this ministry has proven to be very successful
in reaching a population who were never shown the way
to the Lord before.
God has blessed our outreach with our initial hearing-impaired
congregational church. We believe that its success will
point the way to future projects.
